Our Presidential Gallery

"Probably anyone.. with between twenty and fifty 1620-50 New England ancestors will have five to ten presidents among his distant kinsmen, and very likely anyone with fifty to two hundred such forebears will have over ten presidents among his American cousins."

These are Presidents with whom we share common ancestry. These are all from known New England ancestors
of  Kansas Pioneers Henry Gilbert and Eleanor Serepta (Fisher)  Baldwin or Morris Wells Hallock. These Kansas Pioneers from the 1800's have thousands of descendants living throughout America today. The total number of  American-born ancestors and American immigrants I have not discovered yet, but the number of identified American immigrant couples/singles is over 120, of which the 37 immigrants listed below are also ancestors to the 14 Presidents listed below. I estimate that the thousands of descendants of the Kansas Pioneers mentioned above are related to one third of all Americans living today. That percentage will continue to increase as each generation continues the "mixing" of the blood of the New England Puritans throughout the country. Our collection of 120 or so New England Puritan ancestors are among the 20,000 Puritan immigrants who arrived in the Colonies from 1620-1650.

Roberts shows some links in this line as "possible". The question seems to focus on parents of Isaac Haines Dickerson.

Whether this lady is really a Bigelow, what her relationship is to immigrant John Bigelow (sister, cousin?), whether she is the mother of Samuel Butler (Richard was married twice) apparently are all unproven assertions at this point. Depending on how our Keyser line of descent turns out, we may have lines of descent from James Davis / Cecilia Davis to Coolidge (1 line) and Ford (2 Lines). (See page 294 of AAP) A granchild of this couple, Hannah Davis, married John-2 Keyser.
