The specific origins of our Pollock ancestors are unknown to me, other than this excerpt from an old family document: "John Pollock's father moved from Scotland to Ireland, then back to Scotland. John Pollock was born near Cumber Co, Ireland. He married Sallie Smith. They had 13 children, all born near Cumber Co, Ireland."

Immigration:  1780-1800, arriving in Philadelphia, Penn

Residence:   Settled in Washington Co, Pennsylvania, then moved to Fayett Co, Penn, then to Harrison Co, Ohio, in 1811.

Spouse:  Sallie Smith, born probably about 1760, in Scotland or Ireland. She died in 1820 in probably Harrison Co, Ohio.

Died:  1819, in Harrison Co, Ohio
