One theory is that the Swezey's are of Swizz origin, migrated first to France, then to England in the 1400's to escape Huegenot religious prosecution, and settled in Bridgport, Dorsetshire, England by 1524.

1680 - Appear on census list

June 10, 1692  - Wife Katherine (King) Swesey,died
