General John Stark of New Hampshire - Revolutionary War Hero. He is from a different line of Starks than the New London, Conn Stark's. These Stark's settled in New Hampshire from Scotland: "STARK, John, soldier, was born in Londonderry, N.H., Aug. 28, 1728; son of Archibald Stark, a  native of Glasgow, Scotland, who was an original proprietor of Dunbarton, N.H."
