Above are the 1xgrandparents of Arthur Willis and Inez Evangeline (Hallock) Baldwin. Most are the first or second generation from Revolutionary war era ancestors. The mix of origins is predominantly Puritan English with a bit of Scotch-Irish and "straight" Scottish mixed in.
Arthur and Inez are both children of separate Kansas Pioneering families. The 80 some immigrants so far identified of these 16 ancestors are only from Elijah Baldwin, Elijah Bruce, Bethuel Hallock, Lucretia Marsh (probably), Samuel Pollock (himself an immigrant), and Abigail Whitney. So, these pages only account for the immigrant ancestors of six of the sixteen 1xg grandparents of Arthur and Inez.
As overwhelming as the information seems to be at times
of what we do know, you can see there is still lots of the American ancestral
identity of Arthur and Inez (Hallock) Baldwin that are not known.
